Fibreglass pools have a range of benefits. The most popular reasons for installing a fibreglass pool in Melbourne are that they are low maintenance due to their non-porous surface, installation is faster than other types of pools, and they are generally more energy efficient than other pools due to their insulation properties. They also offer a smooth surface so they are perfect for families. Learn more about the differences between concrete and fibreglass pools.
A range of factors can determine how long it takes to install a fibreglass pool such as preparation of your property, excavation requirements, shell availability, permits and more. The actual installation only takes a few days, and at Cool Pools we will have you swimming just 2 weeks from installation! If you would like to discuss how long pool installation would take for you and your property please contact us today.
On average, a well maintained fibreglass pool should last 30-50 years. At Cool Pools of Melbourne our pools are manufactured with flexible fibreglass that can withstand the harsh Melbourne weather conditions and heavy usage. Read our blog on the life expectancy of a fibreglass pool to learn more.
The best way to select the best pool builder for you is to choose a professional, experienced pool builder local to your area who shares the same values as you do. Look for things like SPASA membership and relevant licensing, transparent communication and positive Google reviews. To learn more please check out our blog on what to look for in a pool builder.
